Virginia GOP Senate Candidate Praised Anti-Semitic ‘Hero’

Just one week before Republicans nominate a challenger to incumbent Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), the far-right Daily Wire released a report that could destroy extremist front-runner Corey Stewart’s campaign.

In a video obtained by Daily Wire that was recorded in February of 2017, Stewart can be seen calling conservative white supremacist Paul Nehlen a personal “hero.”

“One of my personal heroes, not from Virginia, but from the great state of Wisconsin, there is Paul Nehlen (R-WI), who had a lot of courage and took on Speaker [Paul] Ryan (R-WI),” Stewart says in the video. “And I can’t tell you how much I was inspired by you.”

Nehlen called for House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) to be murdered and attacked Jewish people on Twitter, including some individuals misidentified as Jewish.

“Nehlen also attempted to blame his loss of support on Jews. He compiled a list of 81 verified users who have ‘attacked’ him for his “#AmericaFirst positions,” Daily Wire writer Kassy Dillon reported. “The list displays the names, Twitter handles, and the religious affiliation Nehlen suspects of each individual. Several of the ‘Jews’ on the list are, in fact, not Jewish, including myself.”

Even far-right leaders, including Steven Bannon, have openly disavowed Nehlen.

With little more than six months until Election Day, Donald Trump is preparing for an “authoritarian” presidency, and a massive, multi-million dollar operation called Project 2025, organized by The Heritage Foundation and headed by a former top Trump White House official, is proposing what it would like to be his agenda.
